What is an Exercise Physiolgist

An Exercise Physiologist (EP) is a 4 year, university-trained Allied Health Professionals who provides exercise and lifestyle therapies to prevent and manage chronic disease, injury, and disability.

 

They will work with you to design a specific exercise program tailored to your injuries, health status and goals.

An exercise physiologist can provide targeted exercise prescription and supervision for specific conditions such as those with chronic diseases or injuries. This can lead to improved health outcomes, increased physical function, and reduced risk of further injury or illness. Additionally, an exercise physiologist can provide personalized support and guidance to help individuals achieve their fitness goals safely effectively.​

Stefanie is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and certified Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) teacher.  Stef enjoys helping clients achieve their health goals using her experience and additional training in exercise physiology.​

 

Stefanie has a special interest in Dance Medicine for children and provides dance specific body conditioning, PBT and flexibility classes through private 1 on 1 sessions or group classes for young dancers.
